Comprehensive
Pediatric Psychological
and Psychoeducational Evaluations
Does your child mask their true feelings or behavior, leaving them emotionally exhausted by the end of the day? Have professionals dismissed your concerns because your child doesn’t fit the stereotypical presentation of autism or ADHD? Misdiagnosis or lack of diagnosis can make it difficult to provide the right interventions and support.
I understand how confusing and isolating this can feel—for both you and your child. Comprehensive evaluations can clarify your child’s neurotype, empowering them to embrace their strengths and access the accommodations they deserve. While I value self-identification, evaluations often help families navigate systems not built for neurodivergent individuals.
A Neuro-affirming Approach
My evaluations are person-centered and rooted in collaboration. I incorporate evidence-based and neuro-affirming measures, such as the Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum (MIGDAS-2), which assess sensory strengths and other unique characteristics. These assessments include interviews with parents, teachers, and others in your child’s support system to understand their challenges and strengths fully.
By addressing co-occurring conditions (e.g., ADHD, anxiety, trauma), I strive to create a comprehensive understanding of your child’s needs. For example, inattentiveness in class could stem from ADHD, a language disorder, or a combination of factors. A holistic evaluation ensures no underlying concern is overlooked.

The Bigger Picture
A child’s growth requires careful attention to all aspects of their well-being.
If we focus only on one area, like ADHD or autism, we risk missing critical factors like trauma or a learning disability. A comprehensive evaluation explores how brain functioning connects to behavior, offering tailored recommendations to help your child thrive.
If your child has recently had a partial evaluation or you’re unsure if a full assessment is needed, I’m happy to discuss the best approach. Together, we’ll uncover the factors influencing your child’s learning, emotions, and overall well-being.

Comprehensive Evaluations for Adults
What if you could create a life that truly fits who you are, rather than forcing yourself to fit into the world around you? While awareness of autism is increasing, it’s still often misunderstood—even by professionals. I am dedicated to offering thoughtful, compassionate assessments that honor your unique experiences and help you feel truly seen.
A Strengths-Based Approach
I prioritize your story and take a collaborative, validating approach to evaluations. Traditional mental health practices can sometimes cause harm by focusing too heavily on the medical model, leading to feelings of misunderstanding or trauma. I challenge this by incorporating intersectionality and creating a supportive process that focuses on your strengths and abilities. For autistic individuals—or those who think they may be—I use tools like the MIGDAS-2 and the Survey of Autistic Strengths, Skills, and Interests (SASSI) to better understand your sensory strengths and unique neurotype. These tools allow us to explore who you are in a way that feels affirming and empowering.
Clarity and Untangling Diagnoses
I specialize in evaluating individuals who have been overlooked or misdiagnosed, particularly those who mask their traits or were diagnosed later in life. Many clients come to me after being diagnosed with conditions like Borderline Personality Disorder, Complex PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, or Social Anxiety, which often overlap with ADHD or Autism. My goal is to untangle these diagnoses, provide clarity, and help you better understand yourself.
Beyond the Diagnosis
A diagnosis is just the beginning. I offer neurodiversity-affirming therapy and coaching to help you navigate this new chapter with confidence and clarity. Together, we’ll explore how your mind works, uncover your strengths, and support you in embracing your authentic self. As an affirming clinician for LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC identities, I value working with individuals who hold intersectional identities and strive to grow continuously in cultural humility.
